Model 4400

Automated Panel Station

An automated panel station that squares, sews, and stages mattress panels so the flanging and border operations downstream start from a clean, consistent part.

The machine

What it does.

A mattress line is only as steady as the panel it starts with. The 4400 squares, sews, and stages the quilted panel so every part that reaches the border and tape edge stations arrives the same size and the same shape.

By fixing panel consistency at the front of the line, the 4400 removes variation that would otherwise compound at every station after it. Downstream operations stop compensating for parts that are slightly off, throughput steadies, and scrap drops. That is the difference between a line that runs and a line that fights itself.

The 4400 is engineered and assembled in house and integrates directly with our border, tape edge, and packaging automation, backed by Parts Depot expendables and full service support.

Capabilities

  • Squares and stages quilted panels at the front of the line
  • Removes variation before it compounds downstream
  • Steadies throughput and reduces scrap
  • Integrates with the full mattress automation cell
